Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h
I bought a halibut fillet once and thought for a long time that I would figure it out. I wanted something unusual and terribly delicious. A friend advised to bake in the oven, even provided a recipe. I found another recipe for halibut in the oven with sour cream sauce on the Internet (and what would we do without it?). So, a friend advised to fry the fish first, it was said on the Internet that it was necessary to bake immediately. In short, I'm confused. But I decided to divide the fish in half and try both.
Rolled half the fish in 1 tablespoon of flour, cut the onion into half rings and put it all on a baking sheet, oiled. The other half was also rolled in flour and fried in a frying pan on both sides. I put the onion on the baking sheet first, and then the fried fish. I made sour cream sauce: fried the remaining 2 tablespoons of flour in butter. I filled it with sour cream and left it on the fire until the sour cream boiled, added salt and pepper. It is important here that the flour does not become lumps, so it must be thoroughly stirred. Divided the sauce in half and poured the fish. I grated the cheese and covered both baking sheets on top. I put it in the preheated oven. Halibut is cooked quickly enough. The cheese has just managed to melt properly, and the fish is already ready, and fried and not fried, it's about 30 minutes. It is better to serve it hot on the table.
