Thank you, Elizabeth! I’ve always admired your photography — flower close-ups, rusty barbed-wire, a weatherworn building… “real Oklahoma” as seen through your lens! :) I appreciate you coming by to comment! :)
Gorgeous sunset photos! I miss being able to visit your blog on a daily basis but they have me covered up in work at my new job (which is a good thing). Hope you have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
These pictures are so beautiful and inspiring. I would love to have my piano out in the open and play all my favourite Chopin and Liszt pieces while gazing at the serene horizon.
I believe they are mostly during twilight and dusk rather than dawn?
Hi, ChopinandMysaucepan! Yes, our view is to the west and we enjoy a constantly changing panorama in the evenings! (There’s a steep hill behind our house to the east, so we don’t get to see the sunrise, despite the fact that I’m generally up before the crack of dawn.) But, a grand piano on the deck sounds like a wonderful idea… :)
Hahaha! Love the header! U’re such an interesting lady, Kimby. I enjoy seeing these pix every time, they seem to have a calming effect on me. Been really busy during CNY………
So beautiful. I love thinking of Leap Day as a gift. Now I’m inspired to make it a special day for myself and I’ll hope for a gorgeous sunrise or sunset.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a birthday on the 29th? I’d proudly state my age for all to hear :D
Gorgeous shots, Kim. Makes me all nice and peaceful inside.
Such lovely photos :) The sunsets around here have been so beautiful lately.

Those are really beautiful pictures! Such amazing colors :-)
These pictures are truly idyllic! Thank you for sharing (especially on this cloudy day we’re having in DC)!
Oh I love all your pictures Kim, absolutely gorgeous! :)

Oklahoma has some of the most beautiful sunsets… Does me proud! ☺
Good job Oklahoma! =) Good job God for making that beauty . . . and good job Kim for capturing it on camera!

Amazing sunset, very peaceful. Now the extra day is something to think about, did not realize 2012 was a leap year! Have a great day.
You have a great day, too, Tina! Didn’t mean to surprise you — I just like bonus “time!” :)
Oh my goodness. Absolutely GORGEOUS. Sunsets and sunrises are just beautiful and special. I like your view of the extra day!
We have had a lot of rain lately so I am enjoying the sun coming to visit us again ;)
As for my plans for the extra day….I will have to think on it but I am going to make it FUN!
FUN is good, Christy! Let me know what you come up with! :)

Now THERE’S a solution to staying “young.” :) I’m so glad you can feel the peace and serenity here.
