And The Award Goes To…

With all of the LOVE generated by Valentine’s Day this week (not to mention the award shows this time of year), it seemed appropriate to pass along a recent honor…

The Liebster Award

Thank you, Gursahiba Anand of Exquisite Niche for your sweet thoughtfulness — being recognized by one’s peers is a perk and a pleasure!

It also gives me an opportunity to pass this accolade to five other bloggers with a prerequisite 200 followers or less — (I’m not sure if that’s according to blog stats or Facebook or what) — but here goes…

1)  Yours Truly, Melissa.

2)  Morganic.

3)  Guns, Grub, and Other Goodies.

4)  clouds full of rain.

5)  Critty Joy.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s to surround yourself with positive people.  These blogs fill the bill!  The whole point is to recognize good writing and pass it on.

This week, please show these bloggers a little — no, a LOT — of LOVE!  Thanks, y’all.  Happy Valentine’s Day!

Enjoying the red carpet treatment,

~ Kim

  2. Thanks! I’m so far behind on blog reading that I have just seen this. Hope all is well with you and the Man of Few Words! Hoping we have time this spring/summer to run off to that great B&B close to you and maybe we can have dinner again!

    • Count on it, Missy, and don’t even worry about blog reading.. you’ve been MORE than busy! Also, count on dinner at our house again — it’d be a pleasure to see you two again. (AND sit on the deck when it’s WARM!) Take care!

  3. Why thank you dear one! I must say I totally concur with the Cheerleader award…what a wonderful encourager you are. So glad to know you through this bloggy world. <3

  4. Congrats on the well-deserved Award, my dear! I’m really happy for u :) It was really thoughtful of u to pass the award to those with less followers. Will try to visit their blogs :) Hope u’d a wonderful evening yesterday. Hugs xoxox

  5. Thank you for the award, Kim! I will have to check it out in more detail later on… I hope you are staying warm and comfy and safe at home (this freezing fog is terrifying stuff!). Take care and have a great Valentine’s Day!

    • Nolita, I brought three daffodils into the house that were nearly frozen solid on Monday and they bloomed for Valentine’s Day — Spring surely can’t be too far behind! Happy Valentine’s Day to you, too!
