Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to marinate wings in honey-soy sauce? Prepare the ingredients. Wash and dry the chicken wings. Cut each wing into 3 parts. Put the narrowest part of the wings aside, it will not be needed. I managed to find already cut wings without tips.
Step 2:
Start cooking the marinade. To begin with, finely chop the garlic with a knife or pass it through a press.
Step 3:
In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce with white wine, honey and garlic. I don't add salt, because soy sauce is already salty. You can remove or add spices or seasonings that you usually use for marinating chicken.
Step 4:
Transfer the chicken wings to a plate and sprinkle them with starch. Mix it up. Starch should be evenly distributed over the meat.
Step 5:
Prepare a baking dish of optimal size. I have a square one, you can take a rectangular or oval one. Put the wings in a mold, trying to stack them in even rows, tightly to each other.
Step 6:
Pour the marinade over the wings and leave to marinate right in the mold for 15-20 minutes. During this time, you can warm up the oven to 200 ° C (determine the exact temperature and time, guided by the features of your oven!). Put the form with the wings in the oven for 45 minutes. During the baking process, check the dish. If necessary, unfold it with the other side, mix, pour the sauce over the top of the meat from the bottom.
I haven't cooked wings for a long time. But I like them so much. I always made them according to different recipes. This time I decided to add dry white wine for flavor. It turned out delicious.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a rather salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk over-salting.
