Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the chicken coop. The easiest and fastest way to make a delicious cake for tea is to use ready–made products, for example, puff pastry. But the chicken coop can be baked from other dough, for example, puff-yeast or shortbread. It's a matter of taste and desire. In a glass of warm water, dissolve sugar and salt.
Step 2:
Pour into a deep bowl. We drive in a chicken egg. Add vinegar and vegetable oil. Mix it up.
Step 3:
Pour the sifted wheat flour into a bowl with liquid. Pour it in parts, stirring the dough with a spoon each time. When the dough becomes difficult to knead with a spoon, put it on the table and continue to knead with your hands, adding flour. Flour may need a little more or less, unlike the amount specified in the recipe, since the density of flour is different.
Step 4:
The dough should be smooth and elastic in consistency.
Step 5:
Divide the dough into four parts, roll out each of them into a rectangular thin layer, lubricate with butter liberally softened at room temperature.
Step 6:
Fold the dough layer like a book, roll it again with a rolling pin, fold it again, repeat two more times. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to cool.
Step 7:
Meanwhile, you can prepare the filling for the pie. Meat for the chicken coop is better to take pork, it is fatter and juicier, but you can also use a mixture of beef and pork. We wash the meat and twist it into minced meat in a meat grinder. You can chop the meat finely with a knife. Onions are cleaned and finely chopped with a knife. Add it to a bowl with minced meat, add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Step 8:
Fry the minced meat in vegetable oil for 20 minutes over medium heat.
Step 9:
Divide the finished dough into two parts. We roll out each of them into a circle.
Step 10:
We spread the cooked meat filling on one half.
Step 11:
Cover with a second layer of dough, gently pinch the edges. In the middle we make a hole for the steam outlet. Grease the pie with vegetable oil on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 12:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake for about 30 minutes. The chicken coop is ready. We serve the pie for tea.
Step 13:
Have a nice tea party!
