Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary products. Take cottage cheese at home, it is desirable that the percentage of fat content would be higher, ideally 9-18%. It is best if you use homemade cottage cheese of your own preparation: the texture of such a product is more homogeneous does not contain grains, besides, of course, such cottage cheese is much more useful. Take any fresh greens: I have cilantro, but dill, parsley, basil, green onions and other greens are perfect.
Step 2:
Mix the cottage cheese with a fork. If you use a purchased one, then for a more uniform texture, it will be best if you rub it through a fine sieve.
Step 3:
Salt the cottage cheese. I use ordinary sea salt, but it can also be salt with additives, such as Adyghe or Svan salt. At the same stage, lovers of spicy can add pepper to the cottage cheese, and lovers of piquant taste can add some other seasonings.
Step 4:
Rinse the greens very well with hot water, then dry them with paper towels. Chop the greens finely - I've been cutting greens with scissors lately - it's very convenient. If suddenly you don't have fresh herbs, dried ones will do, - now a lot of dried dill, parsley, and onions are sold. But, of course, the dish will be more useful if you add fresh herbs.
Step 5:
Add chopped garlic to the cottage cheese. I put a clove of garlic through the press, but it can also be grated or finely chopped with a sharp knife. It is allowed to replace fresh garlic with garlic powder. Let the cottage cheese brew a little at room temperature and serve to the table.
Step 6:
Both delicious and healthy! Bon appetit!
Such cottage cheese is perfect to serve for breakfast or afternoon tea. It's delicious on its own. But it can also be used as a spread on bread or toast, for stuffing halves of eggs or tomatoes, and even as a filling for pies, puffs and other confectionery.
Bon appetit!
