Cooking method
We take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance, it should be warm and soft enough to be beaten with a mixer. It is not necessary to speed up the process by placing it in the oven or microwave. If the butter melts to a liquid state, the consistency of the dough will be imperfect.
Transfer the soft butter to a deep whipping bowl. Add sugar, beat with a mixer at high speeds. In the process, gradually add vanilla sugar.
As soon as the oil mixture turns white and increases in volume, we begin to introduce eggs. Add the eggs one at a time, pre-breaking it into a cup to protect yourself from getting spoiled foods into the dough. Adding one egg, mix the mass with a mixer until it becomes completely homogeneous. So one by one we add all the necessary number of eggs.
Add rum to the future dough, stir with a mixer. If there is a desire to diversify the cupcake with dried fruits, nuts or candied fruits, add them at this stage, mix well.
Gradually, sifting through a sieve, add baking flour to the dough. It is distinguished from the classic by the presence of baking powder in the composition. If plain flour is used, simply add baking powder to the dough. Add starch, mix the mass well with a silicone spatula.
Grease the baking dish with oil, spread the dough, level it with a spatula and send it to the oven preheated to 175 degrees. The cupcake turns out to be quite dense, so the approximate baking time is 60 minutes. We check the readiness with a skewer, as soon as it is dry, you can turn it off.
We put the finished cupcake on the grill to cool down. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with coffee, tea or other beverages. If desired, the cupcake can be poured with syrup, chocolate or icing, this will give it a festive look and allow it to become a dessert for the celebration.
Bon appetit!
