In Argentine cuisine, there are several options for cooking empanadas meat pies. They differ in size and composition of the filling. This recipe is the most common.
In the flour mixed with baking powder and salt, add the milk, into which the yolks are beaten, butter. Knead, cover with cling film and set aside for an hour. Fry the chopped onion and garlic in vegetable oil, add finely chopped meat (you can grind it in a meat grinder), anchovies, capers, 1 tablespoon of flour. Stirring thoroughly all the time, pour in the broth, put marjoram and spices. Leave the filling to sweat a little on low heat. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out the circles (diameter - 10 cm). Carefully put on each tablespoon of minced meat, a little raisins and form a pie and put it on a baking sheet greased with oil. Brush the top of the pies with milk and set aside for ten minutes in the cold. Bake at a temperature of 200 degrees until golden brown. Empadas should be served hot. A good addition to the food will be red Argentine wine.
