Step 1:
For this snack, we will need a simple set of products and an even more simple recipe.
Step 2:
I used black and white bread and I got two types of crackers. You can do the same or take only one piece of bread. We take the bread and cut it across into slices, then we cut these slices horizontally into oblong cubes of medium thickness, and then vertically into small cubes.
Step 3:
As a result, you should get cubes of the size you need. If you take fresh bread, the crackers will turn out soft inside, which is also very tasty. And if the bread has already lain for a couple of days, then real traditional crackers will turn out.
Step 4:
Pour sunflower oil into a cup (it will turn out even tastier if you take olive oil). Squeeze out garlic there, sprinkle greens - the more, the better. Lovers of spicy can add ground black pepper. Do not forget about salt. We mix all this.
Step 5:
Add sliced bread to the resulting mass and dip it in oil until it is soaked. We dump the bread on a baking sheet and send it to the oven. You need to keep it for 15-20 minutes until the hardness that you like more.
Step 6:
We give time to cool down a little and that's it - the dish is ready!
Even as a child, I fell in love with this crunchy delicacy, to which my dear grandmother taught me. I often cooked such crackers in her village with her. She baked the bread herself and never threw away its leftovers - everything went to crackers. Many years have passed since then, but my craving for crackers has remained. Now I often make them for my children, who also have a special weakness for them. They really like to throw crackers into milk and wait until they swell and they can be caught with a spoon and eaten. My husband and I, and our friends who sometimes visit us, really like to drink such crackers with dark or light beer - this is a wonderful and budget snack that you can adjust to your taste, just like spices and their proportions. In general, cook garlic crackers and eat them with whatever you want!
