Cooking method
As an alternative to various ready–made sandwich pastes - cottage cheese pasta with fresh herbs. This paste is prepared in just 10 minutes, and due to the mayonnaise in its composition, it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. The snack can be made from cottage cheese of any fat content.
We take fresh cottage cheese, not sour, preferably homemade, but if not, then any, even fat-free, will do. The main thing is that it should be moderately wrung out, but not too dry. If the cottage cheese is lumps, it is better to grind it with a blender.
Fresh herbs, we have onions, parsley and dill, wash with cold water, shake and finely chop. We pour the chopped greens into the cottage cheese.
Next, grate hard cheese on a fine grater. It is best to take a saltier cheese, in which case we will not salt the appetizer. Grated cheese is also poured into cottage cheese.
Add mayonnaise to the cottage cheese and you can add a pinch of salt. If you do not want to use mayonnaise, replace it with sour cream, but do not store such a paste for a long time, and it will not work – it is so delicious that it is eaten immediately.
Now we take a fork and mix all the ingredients well to make a curd paste. If desired, you can grind everything together with a blender, but if the cottage cheese is soft and homogeneous, it's enough to just mix with a fork.
Cottage cheese paste with herbs is ready, spread it on slices of bread and immediately serve the sandwiches on the table.
