Cooking method
Lean yeast is the fastest dough for pies or donuts. We will prepare it in a safe way. We will do it like this:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. It should be 38-40 degrees Celsius.
2. Add salt, sugar, mix well.
3. Sift the flour.
4. Pour two thirds of the flour into a bowl, pour the dissolved yeast into it, knead the dough.
5. Add vegetable oil.
6. Gradually adding flour, knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands. Perhaps a little more flour will be needed, or vice versa - less. As a result, the dough should be elastic and soft, slightly moist. If suddenly it turned out too steep, add a little water and oil to it and knead again.
7. Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it in a warm place for an hour. The test should be twice as much.
8. Knead the dough for a few minutes, after which you can start cooking donuts.
The procedure will be as follows:
1. Roll out the dough into a bundle, divide into pieces about the size of a small apple.
2. We form balls from the pieces and leave them to lie down for 5 minutes.
3. After that, we roll out each ball into a flat cake, put the jam and pinch the edges. The shape of the donut can be given any - to your taste. I like to make them round and flat.
4. Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil, spread the donuts so that they fit. By the time it will be 15-20 minutes.
5. Then fry the donuts deep-fried on both sides until a beautiful golden color.
6. We put the finished donuts on a paper towel so that the excess oil is removed.
Then sprinkle the donuts with powdered sugar and serve to the table.
Bon appetit!
