Step 1:
How to make a classic Greek salad with cheese? Prepare the ingredients. Wash and dry the vegetables.

Combine vegetables in a salad bowl, add sugar, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Season with olive oil and lemon juice. Mix gently.
Step 8:
Add cheese and olives. Sprinkle with dried oregano. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
How to choose the right olives? It is better to buy the product in a transparent package. So you can see their appearance and color. If the olives are too black, then food dyes have been added. The fruits should be elastic, whole, with a smooth, shiny skin. Too soft, overripe olives will not be stored for a long time.
The salad will look nice and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes).
