Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the dish. Minced meat can be wound independently from fresh meat, beef tenderloin. And you can use ready-made minced meat, prepared in advance or purchased in the store.
Step 2:
Rice is washed, changing the water several times. Boil the rice in salted water until half-cooked, drain the water, rinse the rice in clean cold water. We throw the rice into a colander, let the water drain completely.
Step 3:
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it with a knife.
Step 4:
Carrots are washed, cleaned and grated.
Step 5:
In a bowl with minced meat, add rice, half of the chopped onion, spices: salt and ground black pepper, beat in a chicken egg. Mix the mass thoroughly until a homogeneous minced meat consistency is obtained.
Step 6:
Take the minced meat with a spoon, put it in a plate with flour (you can use breadcrumbs), form small balls. Pour vegetable oil into the pan. A frying pan should be used deep and with a thick bottom or a saucepan. We warm it up.
Step 7:
Fry the meatballs until browned on both sides, turning them over with a spatula. We remove them from the pan.
Step 8:
Put the remaining chopped onion and grated carrot on the remaining oil in the pan. Fry the vegetables until the onion is transparent and the carrots are soft.
Step 9:
We send tomato paste or chopped or mashed fresh tomatoes into a frying pan with vegetable frying. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix the ingredients and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
Step 10:
We send the meatballs to the pan with gravy, mix and simmer them for about 20 minutes over low heat with the lid slightly open. Turn off the fire.
Step 11:
The meatballs are ready. We serve the dish with a side dish to taste. Bon appetit!
