Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the ingredients in advance. What is necessary, wash, clean and remove excess. Put the rice to cook.
Step 2:
Cut onion and bell pepper into strips, mushrooms into plates. Fry everything in half olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste. Drain the oil into a glass after frying.
Step 3:
Mix the fried vegetables with the boiled rice. Stuff the cockerel with rice and vegetables.
Step 4:
Put the rooster on a baking dish. Add to the oil remaining after frying, fresh oil, salt to taste, mix and coat the cock well with this. All this can be done in advance and leave the rooster in the refrigerator until the moment of baking.
Step 5:
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees an hour before serving the dish. Add a little water to the bottom of the mold and bake the rooster for 40 minutes. From time to time, pour broth over the cockerel from the bottom of the mold - this contributes to the formation of a juicy, not over-dried crust.
Step 6:
Then reduce the heat and let the oven cool to 180 degrees. Meanwhile, cut the apples into large cubes and put them on the bottom of the mold. Bake the cockerel for another 30 minutes at 180 degrees. The cock is ready and you can immediately serve it from the oven to the table! Therefore, choose a more beautiful baking dish. Bon appetit and happy holidays!
