Black currant jelly

Vitamin drink - both pleasure and benefit at any time of the year! . I think everyone has tried jelly, but not everyone knows how to cook it. Jelly is a real delicacy, it can be very thick, so that you need to eat it with a spoon, maybe as a drink. It is served both warm and very cold. Warm is nice to drink on a cold winter day, and a chilled version will perfectly quench your thirst in the heat. Cook a delicious treat for your family - they will like it! For greater density, increase the amount of starch.

1. If the berries are fresh, we sort them out and wash them, leave them in a colander to drain the excess liquid. Frozen berries need to be thawed beforehand, the juice from them will also go into jelly.
2. Pour the water into a saucepan, put it on the fire, bring it to a boil.
3. Lightly knead the berries, put them in boiling water.
4. Cook the berries for 2 minutes.
5. Filter the future jelly through a fine sieve.
6. Pour the filtered liquid back into the pan, put it on the fire again.
7. Add sugar to the liquid. Try it - if the specified amount is clearly not enough for your taste, put more.
8. In cold water, we dilute starch.
9. Pour the diluted starch in a thin stream, constantly stirring the berry broth.
10. Remove the jelly from the fire and cool.

Jelly can be served warm or cold - it's delicious both ways.

Bon appetit!
