Homemade orange and lemon drink

4 liters of delicious drink from 2 oranges and 1 lemon. Homemade orange drink tastes no different from orange juice, which is sold in stores. But the composition, the presence of dyes and preservatives is very different. I offer a budget version of a delicious and healthy homemade drink.

    To prepare a drink, wash the citrus fruits well, it is better to scald them with boiling water and wipe dry. Since we will use citrus fruits together with the skin, we need to get rid of the bitterness. There are two ways – to hold oranges with lemon in boiling water or send them to the freezer. I cooked in two ways and I think it's better to freeze citrus fruits, then there is a very slight bitterness.

    Therefore, we put oranges and lemon in a plastic bag and send them to the freezer for 3-4 hours, you can leave them overnight. When the stay of citrus fruits in the freezer comes to an end, we prepare sugar syrup. To do this, bring 4 liters of water to a boil, add sugar and boil the syrup for 10 minutes. Let the syrup cool down to a temperature slightly above room temperature.

    Take the oranges and lemon out of the freezer, let them thaw and cut into pieces. Be sure to remove all the bones and chop the citrus fruits with a meat grinder or blender. Add the crushed citrus mass to the sugar syrup and let it brew for 5-6 hours. We strain the infused drink through a fine sieve or gauze, send it to the refrigerator to cool and serve it to the table. From the specified amount of ingredients, 4 liters of a delicious, healthy drink are obtained.
