Cooking method
1. We prepare two high cylindrical highball glasses with a volume of 360 ml for a cocktail. They need to be cooled in advance by filling with crushed ice for a minute until the walls are covered with a thin layer of frost, then the ice needs to be thrown out.
2. Put sugar in each glass - divide the specified amount equally into two parts.
3. Pour the sugar with ale (also divide it in half into two glasses), mix well so that all the sugar crystals dissolve.Sugar can be replaced with simple sugar syrup in the same amount. In this case, the syrup must be prepared in advance and cooled (it is prepared as follows: sugar and water are mixed 1 to 1, brought to a boil so that the sugar dissolves, then cools).
4. Mint leaves are also distributed in glasses. With a wooden spoon, we slightly crumple the leaves so that they let the juice.
5. Pour bourbon into both glasses as well.
6. We crush the ice, for which it can be put in a plastic bag, wrap the bag in a towel and knock with a rolling pin.
7. We distribute crushed ice into two glasses. There is no need to regret the ice, because if there is not enough of it, it will melt and the cocktail will turn out to be strongly diluted with water. If there is a lot of ice, it will not melt quickly, but it will cool the other components of the cocktail. That's exactly what we need. In addition, it is important to use fresh ice, it is not allowed to reuse ice, for example, remaining after cooling the glass (in this case, the quality of the finished drink will suffer).
8. Mix everything, decorate with mint sprigs, insert the tubes and serve to the table.
It is already possible (and necessary) to enjoy! :)))
