Cucumbers with aspirin for winter in a jar

Quick recipe for cucumbers for winter without a drop of vinegar. This recipe is suitable for those who, for certain reasons, cannot use vinegar, or do not want to wait long for the preparation of cucumbers. Aspirin plays a bactericidal role, so cucumbers will be resistant all winter.

Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, trim the tips on both sides and place in ice water for at least two hours. While working with spices and jars, remove cucumbers directly in a bowl with water in the refrigerator.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Sterilize the jars in any convenient way. It can be steamed, in the oven or in the microwave. It's convenient for me to sterilize the twist jars in the microwave.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

At the bottom of sterile jars lay umbrellas of dill. The proportions here are to taste. Peel the garlic and cut the cloves in half. Crushed garlic gives its flavor to cucumbers better than whole cloves. Add chopped parsley root and allspice.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

    Fill the jars with cucumbers.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Cover the cucumbers with an oak leaf and dill umbrellas from above.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Pour boiling water into the jars. It is necessary to pour not on the glass, but in the middle. Cover the jar with a lid and leave for twenty minutes to warm up the cucumbers.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

After this time, drain the water from the jar into a saucepan or saucepan. Add salt and bring to a boil. Boil for three minutes.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Grind the aspirin in a mortar to a powder state. Cover the lid with boiling water.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Pour aspirin into a jar and pour boiling brine over the neck. We do the same as the first time: we pour brine on cucumbers, not on glass. Close the jar with a lid sterilized with boiling water in advance. Turn it over and wrap it up. After cooling, store in a cool, dark place.

Obviously, but I will still voice: I would not recommend offering such instant cucumbers, as, indeed, any other preservation, to children. This, first of all, concerns aspirin, or, in another way, acetylsalicylic acid. There is a lot of debate about its benefits and harms.
It is also not recommended to use aspirin for people with problems with the gastrointestinal tract and kidneys.
Personally, I prefer to salt cucumbers in ways with a long, but completely natural fermentation process.
But I think that healthy adults! a couple of cucumbers on aspirin in a week certainly won't hurt. Everything should be in moderation.
I wish you a pleasant appetite!
