Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a stumble? First, prepare all the ingredients according to the list.
Step 2:
Sort out the black currant, rinse thoroughly and dry on a folded towel.
Step 3:
Cook the sugar syrup. To do this, add sugar to the water, stir and bring to a boil on the stove.
Step 4:
While the syrup is cooking, rub the black currant with a wooden pusher, transferring it to a suitable flat dish. Instead of a pusher, you can use a blender or a meat grinder.
Step 5:
Strain the resulting berry mass through gauze or other suitable cloth. If you have a good juicer, you can use it initially. You can either throw out the berry cake or use it for something else, in this recipe we no longer need it.
Step 6:
Sugar syrup after boiling becomes appetizingly golden and transparent :)
Step 7:
Pour currant juice into the syrup and bring it to a boil again.
Step 8:
And now the fun begins :) Turn off the heat and add vodka to the syrup. Stir and put on a slow fire again.
Step 9:
When the mixture thickens slightly, remove the pan from the heat and cool its contents. Pour the syrup with vodka into bottles, seal them tightly and put them in a dark, cool place. After it stands, the stumble becomes many times tastier and more fragrant. Although you can try it right after cooking. How long should the stumble be infused? It depends on your patience) From a week or longer.
Step 10:
Enjoy a bright and sweet drink! :)
There are a huge number of culinary recipes for its preparation. One of them is a stumbler on a currant.
I will remember this stumbler for the rest of my life. We went with a girlfriend to the neighbors in the dorm, ask for a synopsis. And there – rustic food on the table, goodies from home and a bottle with some kind of drink. They invited us to the table. We initially refused, but eventually agreed. We had a drink. We had a snack, talked. An hour later they came to their senses that it was time to study. Let's go, I say, Nin. She says, "Let's go," we sit on. I tell her again – let's go, she nods to me, and we sit again. I look, the owners began to look at us strangely, we have been sitting for the third hour. I whisper to Nina: "Why don't you get up?", and she says to me: "My legs don't go, why are you?" "And I have the same thing." In the end, the owners had to escort us to the next room. Treacherous drink stumble.
Useful advice! Do not throw away the currant cake left after making the drink, it can be used to make a delicious fruit drink or compote.
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
