Step 1:
How to make a simple apple pie charlotte? Measure out the necessary ingredients. Take large eggs. Sweet and sour varieties of apples are well suited for the pie. If the apples are small, you can take 3 fruits.
Step 2:
Mix flour with baking powder and sift through a sieve. This will increase the oxygen saturation of the flour, so that the dough will rise better during baking. And the pie will turn out lush and airy.
Step 3:
Wash and dry the apples. Peel the apples from the seeds. The skin can also be cut off if it is too thick and rough. I didn't peel the skin. Cut the apples into medium cubes.
Step 4:
Combine eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Vanilla sugar can be replaced with vanillin. In this case, add vanilla to the flour mixture.
Step 5:
Beat eggs with sugar at high speeds of the mixer until fluffy, light mass. When the beaters of the mixer leave visible, clear traces during the whipping process, it means that the eggs have been beaten well enough and you can stop whipping.
Step 6:
Add the flour sifted with baking powder to the beaten egg mass gradually, in small portions. You can do this through a sieve, thereby sifting the flour twice. Pouring flour, at the same time mix the dough with a spatula with neat scooping movements to preserve the airiness as much as possible.
Step 7:
The dough turns out homogeneous, airy, light.
Step 8:
Cover the bottom of the baking dish (22 cm in diameter) with parchment. If necessary, lubricate the parchment with a small amount of oil, the sides of the mold do not need to be lubricated. Pour a third of the dough into the mold, gently smooth it out.
Step 9:
Spread half of the sliced apples on top.
Step 10:
Then put another third of the dough and the remaining cubes of apples on top.
Step 11:
Pour out the rest of the dough, gently flatten. You can immediately put all the apples in the dough and mix.
Step 12:
Immediately put the pie in a preheated 180C oven for about 35-40 minutes. The time and mode of baking may vary, focus on the operation of your oven. Do not open the oven for the first 25 minutes, so that the charlotte does not settle from a sharp drop in temperature. Check readiness with a skewer. If it comes out of the middle of the pie dry, then the charlotte is ready. Let it stand for a while in the mold, then take it out and cool on the grill.
Step 13:
