    Take a liter of cold boiled water. Fill the oat flakes with this water and leave them for 12 hours. It is more convenient to do this at night to prepare milk for breakfast. No matter how many flakes are used, the main thing is that the ratio of oat flakes and water should be 1 to 10.

    After 12 hours, stir the swollen mixture, then pour this mixture into a blender. Whisk it to a white homogeneous mass.

From 100 grams of flakes and a liter of water, a little more than 800 milliliters of the finished product turned out. Keep the milk in the refrigerator. The shelf life of such a product is 5 days. Oat milk is a relatively new product, it was created in the early 90s. Its creator is the Swedish scientist Rikard Oste. He researched lactose intolerance and was looking for a replacement for cow's milk. Shortly after this herbal drink was created, Oste founded Oatly and became the first commercial producer of oat milk.

Today, different ingredients are added to oat milk to diversify its taste. For example, milk can be made chocolate, and when you add a few drops of vanilla flavor, it will have a pleasant sweet vanilla taste.
