Cooking method

Cooking time: 2 hours

To start, warm up the milk and water to a warm state. The remaining products should be at room temperature if possible.

Pour the milk and water into a separate bowl, add the active yeast and sugar to them, mix. Leave it on for ten minutes. A foam cap should appear on the mass, which means that the yeast has earned. If there is no cap, wait longer or replace the yeast.

Add chicken egg and vegetable oil to milk with water and yeast, mix.

Pour in portions of flour sifted through a fine sieve, mixed with salt. Knead the dough. Be sure to follow this step - add flour in parts, focusing on the consistency of the dough. It should not be steep, slightly sticky.

Set the bowl of dough aside, covering it with a towel. Keep it warm until it rises. Ideally, the dough should increase in volume by 2-3 times.

Knead the dough that has come up and divide it into 9 equal parts.

Grease a baking sheet with oil or cover with oiled paper. Form round buns from the dough pieces and transfer them to a baking sheet. Cover with a napkin and leave to rise. Leave a space between the dough, otherwise its individual parts will stick together.

When the buns rise slightly, press them slightly with your hand on top, making them flatter. Brush each one with a brush dipped in milk. Sprinkle the buns with sesame seeds.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. And bake the burger buns until ready. It will take you 40-60 minutes. Be guided by the time of your oven.

When the buns are baked, take them out of the oven, let them cool, then cut each in half for the filling.

Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
