I share the most successful casserole recipe for my taste. It tastes like melted caramel, it just melts in your mouth!
This recipe for bread slicer casserole is perfect for those who like cottage cheese casserole in which there is a lot of cottage cheese and no grains. I don't really like casseroles that look more like cupcakes or biscuits, so I intentionally add semolina. Moreover, the minimum amount.
If you still insist on a lush casserole-cake, I advise you to replace semolina with 2-3 tablespoons of flour and add 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
1. We put all the ingredients in the bread maker - cottage cheese, condensed milk, eggs, sugar, salt, semolina and butter. By the way, the fatter the cottage cheese, the more tender the casserole will turn out. It does not matter in what order to spread it, although a certain order is specified in the instructions for some bread makers - you can stick to it.
2. The most important step is choosing the mode. It takes about 10 minutes to knead the casserole. The modes "Kneading dough", "Dumplings" or "Dessert" are well suited. After all the ingredients are mixed, smooth the top of the casserole with a spatula. By the way, the shape can be of any diameter. The smaller the shape in diameter, the thinner the casserole will turn out.
*Lovers of dried fruits feel free to add raisins or dried apricots, but only after the dough for the casserole is kneaded. Otherwise, dried fruits will turn into porridge, not pieces.
3. Next, turn on the baking mode and bake for 45-50 minutes. Do not remove the casserole from the bread maker for another 15-20 minutes after the program ends.
4. I advise you to cool the finished casserole slightly. Or put it in the refrigerator for a few hours and serve it cold, like a cheesecake.
5. On top of the casserole, you can additionally pour condensed milk. Decorate with seasonal berries or fruits and enjoy!
I advise you to choose berries with sourness. The casserole is sweet enough by itself. Red currant and pomegranate are perfect. And how beautiful they look!
The casserole is very similar to cheesecake because of its caramel flavor. For lovers of experiments, I advise you to try replacing half of the cottage cheese with cream cheese or ricotta. This will make it even more tender.
