Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make pasta in navy style with stewed meat in a slow cooker? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can take any pasta to your taste, but you should not take very large or very small ones. Choose something in between. Stew can be made from any kind of meat, the main thing is that you like it. I have a pork stew.
Step 2:
Peel onions and carrots and rinse them in running water from dirt. Finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 3:
Turn on the slow cooker to the "Frying" mode and pour a little vegetable oil into the bowl. When the bowl is heated, put the chopped onions and carrots into it. Fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally so that they do not burn. It is not necessary to close the lid at the same time.
Step 4:
Add stewed meat to the fried vegetables. Mix everything and warm it well so that the broth in the stew has time to melt.
Step 5:
Then put the prepared dry (raw) pasta in a bowl.
Step 6:
Pour in hot water and mix everything. Add a little salt to taste, but keep in mind that the stew itself is already salty. I don't add any spices, since the stew already has bay leaf and peppercorns, which are quite fragrant in themselves. Switch the slow cooker to the "Quenching" mode for 15 minutes and close the lid. Considering that the slow cooker is already warmed up, the pasta will immediately begin to cook. In the process, they can be mixed a couple of times.
Step 7:
During cooking, the pasta increased in size and absorbed water. Mix everything, arrange on plates and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
Keep in mind that the cooking time and mode are indicated approximately in the recipe. All slow cookers work differently and even the same models of the same manufacturer may have their own characteristics. Before you start cooking a new dish for you in a slow cooker, carefully study the instructions for it, and then in practice try to cook dishes that are familiar to you first, and then new ones, choosing the mode and time individually for your own technique.

For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
