Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare all the ingredients
Step 2:
Chop garlic, mix with mustard, salt and pepper. Spread the resulting mixture on the meat.
Step 3:
We spread the bay leaf on top, so that there are no gaps left.
Step 4:
Preheat the oven to the maximum temperature (in a home oven it is usually 250 degrees, but it can be up to 300 degrees). We put roast beef in a preheated oven. After 15 minutes, we lower the temperature to 150 degrees and keep it in the oven for another half hour.
Step 5:
After the roast beef has cooled, remove the bay leaf, mustard and slice.
Step 6:
Spread in a glass pan and preheat in the oven for 5 minutes before serving. Although it is delicious cold.
The better the meat, the tastier the roast beef. If you take good meat, you don't even need to pickle it.
I prefer entrecote.
The main trick is not in the marinade or dressing, but in the cooking temperature. The fact is that it changes during the baking process.
