Crumbly rice in the microwave is fast, delicious, an excellent side dish, a component in a salad or an independent dish in the post.

To cook rice in the microwave, you need to rinse it well (I have a regular Krasnodar one) in several waters, hold it in water for a while or drain it, pour clean water 0.5 cm above the surface of the rice and put it in the microwave at 80% power for 10 minutes. After that, add salt, add sunflower oil and warm up for another 3 minutes. Let stand for a while and you can serve.
Cooking plain white rice is simple and not interesting, so I usually cook the side dish according to the recipe described below.
1. Rinse the rice and soak it with water for 10 minutes.
2. In a microwave saucepan (take a saucepan of such a size that there is 2/3 free space after placing all the products, this will help avoid liquid leakage), heat the onion with oil for 2 minutes at maximum power.
3. Add carrots and celery and warm up for 2 more minutes.
4. Drain the water from the rice and put it in a saucepan with the vegetables, mix.
5. Pour water (1 cup, taking into account the fact that the rice was soaked and soaked with water), the amount of water can be adjusted at any time - open and see if necessary - add, the main thing is not to pour a lot of water at once, then you can't get rid of it, and the rice can turn sticky, although it's good in that in case you cook rice porridge.
7. Turn on the microwave for 10 minutes at 80% power. At the end, add salt and mix, let stand.
8. Serve as a side dish to fish, meat, mushrooms. Or cool and add to salads.
