  • Boil the chicken gizzards in salted water and let cool, then cut into small pieces. Grate the carrot and slice the onion into half-rings. Sauté them with the mushrooms in vegetable oil, covered, for about 7–9 minutes. Add the chicken gizzards, salt, and pepper to the sautéed vegetables, then simmer everything over low heat with the cream for about 10–15 minutes, covered. Separately, cook the pasta nests in salted water until tender, drain, and toss with the butter. Arrange them as nests in a buttered baking dish. Fill the centers with the stewed gizzards and vegetables and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the nests in an oven preheated to 350°F (180°C) for 10–15 minutes.
