    1. Activate the yeast: stir the sugar and yeast into a glass of warm water and leave for 15 minutes until it foams (a sign the yeast is active). 2. Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl, add the dried dill, and stir. Make a well in the center and pour in the activated yeast and the olive oil. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes, until soft and elastic. 3. Put it in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and set in a warm place to double in size (about 1–1.5 hours). The dough is ready to use.
