Step 1:
How to make cabbage salad for winter with bell pepper? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Cabbage is suitable for white cabbage. If you use peppers of different colors, like mine, you will get a brighter salad. It is better to take large or medium salt. With it, cabbage turns out tastier and is stored longer.
Step 2:
First prepare the cabbage. Peel off the flaccid leaves, rinse well and dry, laying out on cotton or paper towels. Finely chop with a knife or a food processor, removing the stalk and hard leaf stalks. Cabbage with such cutting looks appetizing and cooks faster. Transfer to a deep bowl so that it is convenient to mix the cabbage with the rest of the ingredients.
Step 3:
Peel, rinse and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. In this form, it will marinate faster and give the taste of cabbage sweet notes. Transfer to a container with cabbage.
Step 4:
Peel, rinse and cut the onion into small cubes. Add to a bowl with chopped vegetables.
Step 5:
Wash the bell pepper, remove the stalk, cut, peel the seeds and cut into cubes or straws. Transfer to the rest of the vegetables.
Step 6:
Add sugar, salt, oil and vinegar.

Mix the salad thoroughly. Stir until smooth and until the vegetables give juice.
Step 8:
Transfer the salad to clean glass jars and cover with a lid. Store the salad in the refrigerator. If you plan to store cabbage for longer than 4 months, the cans must be sterilized.
