Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

How do you make juicy chopped chicken breast patties? Get everything you need ready. You can use meat from any part of the chicken; I'll be using breast fillets. My eggs are large.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Cut the chicken into small pieces — the smaller the better. Transfer the chopped meat to a separate bowl.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Peel the onion and rinse it in cold water. Chop it as finely as you can and add it to the bowl with the meat.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Next add the finely chopped dill and the eggs.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Add the sour cream. Peel the garlic and press it into the bowl. Season with a little salt and spices to taste — I use ground pepper and a bit of paprika.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Add some flour to the bowl.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined. A large spoon makes this easy. The mixture will be fairly wet.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Heat a skillet until hot and add a little vegetable oil. Spoon small mounds of the mixture into the pan and fry the patties for 2–3 minutes per side.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

The finished patties turn an appetizing golden color. Chicken cooks nice and fast.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10

The juicy chicken patties are ready! Serve them hot with any side dish and some fresh vegetables. Enjoy!

  • Important! The wrong pan can ruin even the best recipe. A good heavy skillet that heats evenly makes all the difference here.
  • There's an easy way to check whether the oil is hot enough: dip a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles gather around it, you're ready to start frying.
  • How do you tell if an egg is fresh? Crack it into a separate bowl. First off, there should be no off smell. The white of a fresh egg is clear and clean, and the yolk holds together in a shiny, domed, even shape rather than spreading out.
