Step 1:
How to bake pike perch in sour cream in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Peel the pike perch from the scales, remove the insides and gills. Wash the fish carcass well in running water, and then dry it with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Sour cream I have 15% fat content.
Step 2:
On the fish, make several incisions at a small distance from each other. Sprinkle the fish inside and out with lemon juice. Sprinkle the fish on all sides with salt and spices for the fish. Rub them into the fish. Then coat the walleye with vegetable oil. This is necessary so that the fish does not dry out when baking. The oil will create a thin film over the entire surface. Place the prepared fish on a sheet of foil.
Step 3:
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and cut into half rings. Put the chopped onion under the fish, on the sides around it and maybe a little inside.
Step 4:
On the outside, liberally lubricate the fish carcass with sour cream.
Step 5:
Wrap the foil around the fish in the form of a boat and transfer to a baking dish. The ideal option would be a metal mold.
Step 6:
Bake the fish in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, 35-40 minutes. When baking, be guided by your oven. The finished fish will brown and become an appetizing golden color. Remove it from the oven and transfer it to a dish along with the foil.
Step 7:
Serve the pike perch baked in sour cream, hot! Enjoy your meal!
For this recipe, it is better to take not frozen, but fresh fish, otherwise the finished fish risks getting dry.
So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
