Step 1:

I had thighs without bone and skin, which can be cut in half or not cut at all - they will bake well enough. I didn't cut it, just cleaned off some excess fat in some places.

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into medium cubes.

Peel the red onion and cut it into 4-6 pieces.

Combine chicken and potatoes and sprinkle them with dry garlic, paprika, ground pepper and salt. Stir and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 6:
Put the potatoes and chicken in a baking dish. Add sliced red onion.
Step 7:
Pour olive oil on top. Bake in a preheated 180 ° C oven for about 40 minutes. Periodically pour the chicken and potatoes with juice from the bottom of the mold. Then increase the temperature to 200 ° C and bake for another 5 minutes until a crispy crust appears on the chicken.
Step 8:
Remove the mold from the oven and arrange on plates. Bon appetit!
In addition to chicken thighs, you can use fillets - with or without bone.
Red sweet onion can be replaced with shallots or ordinary onions.
In addition to the spices specified in the recipe, you can use your favorite spices. Turmeric, curry, hops-suneli or a mixture of dry spices for chicken or for hams will do here.
