Step 1:
DOUGH: Mix plain drinking yogurt, fresh warm milk, egg white, salt and sugar. Mix everything well until the mass is homogeneous. Next, mix the flour with baking powder separately and add to the liquid ingredients and mix. Add soft butter to the resulting mass, mix everything well again. Knead smooth pliable dough with your hands. Then roll the resulting dough into a ball and leave it under the lid to rest. In the meantime, you can do the stuffing.
Step 2:
FILLING: A peeled apple of medium size weighing about 200 grams should be grated on a coarse grater. Add lemon juice to the grated apple, mix. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add sugar and honey to the butter and mix. Cook stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add grated apples with lemon juice to the resulting mass. Simmer until all the liquid evaporates. At the end, add the cinnamon, mix and remove from heat. Cool the filling.
Step 3:
PIES: Divide the rested dough into 6 parts, roll a ball from each part. Leave the balls under the film for 15 minutes to rest. Then roll out a circle from the ball. Make one incision on the circle from the center to the edge, put the filling on one side in an amount of about one teaspoon. Roll the dough with the filling in a circle carefully and carefully pinching the edges. At the end, shape the dome with your hands. Grease the pies with icing of mixed egg yolk with milk.
Step 4:
Bake in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes on the bottom shelf. But you still need to focus on your oven. After all, they are all so different! The pies should turn out with a golden crust on the outside and in no case remain raw inside, you can use a wooden skewer to check the internal condition of the pie. Ready-made pies can be removed from the oven and covered with a clean towel for 5-10 minutes. Bon appetit!
