Quick, simple, easy, delicious, for the whole family! This no-bake farmer's cheese dessert with no gelatin is a recipe for a treat that turns out not only very tasty but also wholesome, thanks to the farmer's cheese in it. Kids are sure to love this dish, and it doesn't take long to make.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
How do you make a no-bake farmer's cheese dessert with no gelatin? Gather the ingredients. Use any cookies you like: shortbread, puff pastry, or farmer's cheese cookies. It's fun if you use a few different kinds. Farmer's cheese of any fat content will work; just keep in mind it changes the calorie count of the dish. Choose natural, high-quality, tasty farmer's cheese with no vegetable additives.
-
Step 2:
Mix the farmer's cheese with the sour cream and sugar and beat it well with a blender. If you don't have a blender, push the cheese through a sieve - the dessert will turn out more tender. Instead of sour cream you can use yogurt, and you can replace the farmer's cheese with a farmer's cheese spread. Try to use the highest-quality dairy products, especially if kids will be eating the dessert. Adjust the amount of sugar to taste.
-
Step 3:
Break the cookies into small pieces. It's quick and easy to do this with a rolling pin by putting the cookies in a bag. The crumbs can be any size - large ones make the dessert crunchy, fine crumbs make it tender. You can also crush the cookies in a blender or just break them by hand. Layer them in glasses: farmer's cheese cream, then crumbled cookies.
-
Step 4:
A layer of berries. I'm using lingonberries, but you can use any berries you like. Wash fresh berries first; thaw frozen ones. If the berries are tart, increase the amount of sugar. Alternatively, you can use preserves or jam, or mash fresh berries with sugar right before making the dessert.
-
Step 5:
Then another layer of cookies and a layer of cream. Go by the size of the glass for the number of layers. I ended up with two, but you can do three or make do with one.
-
Step 6:
Decorate the top to taste with grated chocolate, berries, candy, or fruit jellies. You can put the dessert in the fridge for a bit so it chills.
-
Step 7:
The no-bake farmer's cheese dessert with no gelatin is ready - serve it up. Enjoy!
- Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener.
