Beef brains are a by-product that is distinguished by a special delicacy of taste. Despite this, brains are poorly absorbed, so you should not give this kind of dishes to children. Although you should not deny yourself such an unusual delicacy. The snack turns out delicious! It is not included in the category of dishes for daily nutrition, but you can cook brains from time to time.
1. Peel the red shallots. We cut the part into rings, leave it for feeding. Chop the remaining onion with a knife arbitrarily.
2. Peel the garlic, cut each clove into a couple of pieces.
3. Prepare a spicy paste. To do this, put the onion and garlic in the bowl of a blender. Here we also pour cumin seeds, turmeric powder and ground coriander.
4. Grind all the ingredients in a blender into a homogeneous paste. Add ground black pepper.
5. Beef brains are thoroughly washed under running water, freed from the shell and blood clots, if any.
6. Cut the offal into pieces. Rub each piece with a spicy paste and put it in a deep bowl. Salt to taste.
7. We send the bowl to the refrigerator, do not forget to cover it with a lid. Leave to marinate for an hour.
8. After the specified time, we put the brains in a saucepan, pour a small amount of water. Half a glass is enough.
9. We send the pan to a low heat, simmer for about 15 minutes. After that we will fry.
10. We put coconut oil in a frying pan, send it to the fire. Fry the brains in well-heated coconut oil until fully cooked.
Serve on the table, garnished with onion rings and herbs.
