Fried Blue Whiting in Honey Marinade

Wonderfully tasty fish in a honey marinade! Blue whiting fried in sunflower oil takes on a surprisingly original flavor thanks to this zesty marinade. It's built on soy sauce with a touch of honey, thickened slightly with potato starch — and if you don't have potato starch, cornstarch works just as well.

    1. Gut the fish, cut off the fins, rinse thoroughly under running water, and pat dry. Cut the cleaned fish into pieces. 2. Pour the soy sauce and lemon juice into a bowl, add the orange zest, honey, ketchup, and starch, and whisk by hand until smooth. 3. Add the fish to the marinade, stir to coat, and refrigerate for at least half an hour. 4. Fry the whiting in sunflower oil on both sides until golden. Serve, garnishing as you like — with orange zest and green onion, for example. Enjoy!
