Cooking method
- When the extra pounds won't leave us in peace and we need to drop them fast, we start turning to all sorts of diets. One of them is the "buckwheat with kefir" diet. It helps a woman stay energetic through the day without going hungry, and effectively brings her weight down. It's recommended to do this diet once a month for a week; you can extend it to two weeks. The method is very simple: take buckwheat groats, as you would for cooking, and pour boiling water over them. By morning the buckwheat is ready. In the morning, eat as much buckwheat as you can. You can wash it down with fresh 1% kefir, and drink unlimited mineral water or green tea. The maximum amount of kefir per day is 1 liter. Salting the buckwheat, adding sugar or butter, and drinking soda, juice or alcohol are strictly off-limits. If eating buckwheat all day is really hard, you can have a couple of pieces of fruit. On the buckwheat diet it's best not to eat after 6 p.m. But if that's tough, then before bed — at most an hour beforehand — it's better to drink a glass of kefir diluted half-and-half with water. Stick with this diet for about a week and you can quickly shed the extra pounds.
