Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare a marinade for meat, take grainy mustard and sour cream. Combine them in a spacious bowl.
Step 2:
Add chopped onion, lemon juice, salt and spices to them.
Step 3:
Mix everything well.
Step 4:
Pork carbonate wash and dry with paper towels or napkins. Thoroughly coat it on all sides with the resulting marinade. Cover with a lid or a film and leave to marinate for 6-8 hours.
Step 5:
Put the marinated meat in a baking dish. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and put the meat in it for 1-1.5 hours. By the end of cooking, pierce the meat with a knife, if the juice is no longer pink, then the meat is ready and it can be removed from the oven.
Step 6:
Delicious and fragrant meat is ready! Cool it down a little so that the hottest heat comes out. Then transfer to a plate, cut into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!
For baking, choose fresh meat that has not been frozen. A lot of juice will flow out of frozen meat during defrosting and because of this, the ready-baked carbonade will be dry. It is best to take a small piece weighing only 1-1.5 kg.
Before baking, the meat can be rubbed with various spices and marinated in a prepared marinade. That's exactly the recipe for pickled carbonade that I want to share with you.
Meat cooked according to this recipe turns out tender, juicy and very soft. A great option for a hot, meat snack for a festive table. This dish will decorate any feast. In addition to it, prepare any vegetable salad. Or simply serve with sliced vegetables. Such meat can also be used for making sandwiches. To do this, the finished meat must be cooled until it cools completely.
Sandwiches with such meat can be used as a snack, you can take it with you to work or just serve it for breakfast instead of sausage. No one can resist such a fragrant and delicious dish! Try it and you!
