Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake a turkey in sour cream in the oven? Prepare the ingredients. You can take any parts of the bird. It turns out very tasty with fillet of thighs. I cooked with breast fillets.
Step 2:
First of all, prepare the marinade. How to make marinade? Put sour cream, mustard, soy sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Step 3:
Mix well until smooth. You can take any mustard for the sauce. I used Dijon, so that the taste was not so sharp. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content, the main thing is that it is natural, without vegetable additives.
Step 4:
Wash the turkey, dry it and cut it into medium pieces. Put it in a deep bowl.
Step 5:
Add the sour cream marinade to the turkey and mix well so that all the pieces of meat are smeared on all sides.
Step 6:
Leave the turkey to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours, preferably overnight. The longer the meat is marinated, the tastier the dish will turn out.
Step 7:
After marinating, put the turkey pieces together with the marinade in a greased baking dish. Bake the dish in a preheated 180 ° C oven for about 40 minutes. You can mix it a couple of times during the baking process. Remove the finished meat from the oven and serve it to the table. Enjoy your meal!
According to this recipe, you can also marinate chicken and rabbit. As a side dish, you can serve potatoes, rice, buckwheat, stewed or boiled vegetables.
Turkey can be replaced with chicken or any other type of meat at your request. But keep in mind that in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.
When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a rather salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk over-salting.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
