Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make samsa with minced pita bread in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. You can use any minced meat or chicken. I have mixed minced meat. Instead of an egg, you can take the yolk. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.
Step 2:
Wash pre-peeled onions, cut into small cubes.
Step 3:
Add the prepared onion, salt, ground black pepper to the minced meat. Mix everything well. If desired, use any spices to taste.
Step 4:
Cut the pita bread sheet into strips along the length. I have a pita bread width of 30 cm. I cut it into 3 strips.
Step 5:
Brush a strip of pita bread with soft butter on top. The rest of the pita bread must be put in a bag so that it does not dry out. Otherwise, it will break when collapsing.
Step 6:
Put a portion of minced meat on the corner of the lavash strip.
Step 7:
Start folding the pita bread into a triangle.
Step 8:
Roll the pita bread to the end of the strip to make an envelope.
Step 9:
Wrap the edge of the strip inside so that the envelope does not unfold.
Step 10:
In this way, wrap all the strips of pita bread in turn. Place the formed envelopes on a parchment-lined sheet. Brush the samsa on top with beaten egg or yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Step 11:
Bake samsa from lavash in a preheated 180C oven for about 25 minutes until lightly browned. Determine the cooking time and baking temperature individually, based on the specifics of the oven.
Step 12:
Serve pita bread samsa with minced meat in a warm form. Bon appetit!
How to choose the right pita bread? First of all, look at the date of manufacture on the package. Do not take expired pastries. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Take a good look so that there are no stains and signs of mold on it.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
So that the oven has time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
