Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make fish cutlets for children? Prepare all the necessary products according to the list. Peel the onion. I use pollock fillet, which I previously defrosted on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Then she squeezed the liquid well with her hands, dried it with paper towels. If you have a whole fish, you need to clean it, remove the spine, all bones and fins, remove the fish fillet from the skin and cut into slices.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

White bread or a bun (you can yesterday's) immediately soak in milk. I did not cut the skin, as it will soak well in milk and will not be felt.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Put the fish pieces in a blender. Add a pre-soaked and well-squeezed loaf of milk, chopped onion, salt to taste, chicken egg and ground black pepper, but this is optional. Grind the contents of the blender into a homogeneous minced meat.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Transfer the minced fish to a deep bowl. If the minced meat turned out to be liquid, you can grind the oat flakes in a coffee grinder into flour and add a couple of spoons to the minced meat. Leave the container with minced meat in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to infuse.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Moisten your hands in cold water, take some minced meat and form cutlets. The blanks should be of the same size, oblong or round, as you prefer. Or please your baby by making minced meat cutlets in the form of fish. Roll the blanks on both sides in good quality breadcrumbs.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Give the fish cutlets the desired shape, put them in a baking tray. To prevent the cutlets from burning, pre-cover the form with baking paper (I have a cooking mat for baking). Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put a form with cutlets in it and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check that they are not over-dried.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

How to decorate and serve fish cutlets? You can create a colorful and appetizing fairy tale on a plate together with your child. Put golden "fish" on a suitable plate, boiled pasta shells will serve not only as a side dish, but also depict the waves of the sea. Sweet canned corn will add sunny colors to the dish. That's all. Bon appetit!

Such cutlets can be prepared from different fish.

Buckwheat, wheat porridge, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta will serve as an ideal side dish for cutlets.

Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !

So that the oven has time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).

Any heat-resistant mold is suitable for this recipe. If you use a silicone mold, then you do not need to smear it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly lubricate metal, ceramic or glass dishes with vegetable oil so that the baking does not burn.
