Cooking method
- On its own, pasta is a pretty boring food. But liven it up with a meat sauce and it's quite something. I found this recipe in a friend's cookbook; it looked so tempting that I copied it down right away. I made it — and didn't regret it. So, pasta with meat! Finely chop the onion, carrot, and garlic and fry them in a skillet. Be careful: as soon as they turn golden, add the ground meat and tomato paste right away. Fry it all well, then pour in water mixed with the wine. Transfer to a pot, add salt and spices, cover, and simmer about 25 minutes. Around the 20-minute mark, add the pickled mushrooms and the butter. Then, once everything is done, sprinkle the sauce with grated cheese. The pasta with it is simply scrumptious! When I first made this dish, my mom gave me a skeptical look — but after a taste she was thrilled. And she's a pretty strict judge!
