  • If you'd like to treat your family to something tasty or surprise your guests with an unusual salad, here's a recipe for a ham salad. First, we'll make homemade noodles for it. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, egg, salt, and water and knead a fairly stiff dough. Let it rest for half an hour, ideally covered with a damp cloth. Then turn the dough out onto a flat, lightly floured surface, roll it out, and cut it into noodles. Let the noodles dry a little. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the noodles. Cook until done, then drain in a colander. The noodles are ready — set them aside to cool. Once cooled, put them in a salad bowl and sprinkle with the vinegar and vegetable oil. Finely chop the green onion and add it to the noodles. Next, scald the tomatoes with boiling water, peel them, remove the seeds, cut them into small pieces, and add them in. If the ham is fatty, trim off the fat; cut the meat into cubes and add it to the salad. Finely chop the garlic and add it as well. All that's left is to add the paprika, season with salt to taste, and mix well. Finish by garnishing with fresh herbs, and serve. Enjoy.
