Honey and Fruit Smoothie
A delicious, refreshing, thick drink made from fresh fruit! This dessert drink is perfect for hot summer days when you want something light, fresh, and very tasty. A smoothie not only quenches your thirst but also fills you up and gives your body vitamins and beneficial minerals. You can make a smoothie purely from fruit with a spoonful of honey added. But if the drink seems too thick, you can thin it with milk — or eat it as a dessert with a teaspoon.

- Get the ingredients ready. Use ripe fruit so the drink turns out sweet and tasty without any added sugar. Still, you can add a teaspoon of honey for flavor and a pleasant aroma — it will also offset the tartness of the kiwi. Use liquid, fresh honey, of course; it's more fragrant and more wholesome. Peel the banana, cut it into small pieces, and put it in a bowl. Wash the kiwi, peel it, and cut it into large pieces. It's best to use juicy, sweet apple varieties. Wash the apples, peel and core them, dice them as well, and add them to the bowl with the rest of the fruit. Blend the fruit into a smooth purée. Add honey or sugar to taste, or skip it if the mixture already seems sweet enough. Blend again so the sugar dissolves and the honey is evenly distributed through the purée. If the mixture seems too thick for a drink, add a little milk — milk softens the cloying sweetness of the fruit. Stir the smoothie thoroughly and pour it into glasses. Chill the banana, kiwi, and apple smoothies in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Serve. Kids and grown-ups alike will love this drink, especially in hot weather. If you like, add other fruits or berries to the mix — just make sure they go well together. You can swap the milk for kefir or plain yogurt, which makes the drink even healthier and more filling. For a lighter, more refreshing version, add some cool boiled water. Enjoy!
