Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Get everything you'll need ready. Unwrap the sausages, cheese, and rolls. Wash and dry the herbs and vegetables ahead of time. You'll also need skewers, tape, twine, wrapping paper, and plastic wrap.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Cut flower shapes from the radishes and thread them onto skewers; thread a pepper onto a skewer too and top it with a radish "flower."

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Cut the cheese in half and stick two skewers into each half (it's heavy).

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Stick skewers into the tomatoes and rolls as well.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Now for the sausages. Cut the large ones in half on the diagonal (for looks); the little hunter's sausages fit beautifully into the waffle cones, and we stick a skewer into every sausage. Cover the cut ends with plastic wrap.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

You can tuck parsley leaves into the little sausage cones.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Start assembling the bouquet. Use plenty of tape to hold everything firmly in place.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Shape the bouquet however you like, adding vegetables, herbs, and cheese. It's tricky to photograph, since the bouquet is heavy and you have to hold it firmly. Lay the finished bouquet on the sheets of lavash and secure it with tape. You can also add drinks to a bouquet like this if you want.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

Finish off the wrapping with kraft and decorative paper. This bouquet is meant for my beloved godson for his prom.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10

What a great guess on the color! I didn't even know he'd be wearing blue... But I guessed even better with the contents! This was my first try.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11

I'm so glad everyone loved it!

  • There are no "templates" here, and there can't be. Your only guide is knowing the man's tastes and preferences. And the bolder your choices, the more original your gift will look.
