Fruit Salad with Mayonnaise and Garlic
An intriguing combination of fruit with mayonnaise and garlic. I made this salad last year while on vacation in Sochi. I ordered it at a café there and was blown away by the taste. It only seems at first that fruit, mayonnaise, and garlic don't go together — in reality, it makes for a truly wonderful medley of flavor.

Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Measure out the ingredients.
-
Step 2:
Seed and peel the melon. Cut the melon flesh into small slices.
-
Step 3:
Cut the cheese into small cubes. You can use any kind of cheese — I used Gouda, but it's also very good with Parmesan.
-
Step 4:
Pull the grapes off the stem. Seedless varieties are best.
-
Step 5:
In a salad bowl, combine the fruit, cheese, and mayonnaise. Press the garlic and add it to the fruit. Mix everything well.
- This salad pairs perfectly with white wine. Thanks to its unusual, piquant flavor, it can also be served as an appetizer.
