Shark meat is a delicacy product in our region, but nevertheless, you can find such exotics in large chain stores. How to cook it? Good question! But there are no secrets here - a shark, like any other fish, is prepared very simply and quickly.
First of all, the steak is mine. We do it carefully, under running water, and then dry it with paper towels. If the shark is frozen, and most likely it will be, the fish must first be thawed. You need to defrost it correctly - this is the key to a delicious dish in the end. In no case should you use microwaves or put fish in hot water. Ideally, if the frozen steak is moved from the freezer to another compartment of the refrigerator. Within 12-18 hours, the steak will be completely defrosted, and the process will be slow. This will preserve the good taste of the steak and maximum vitamins.
We heat the grill well to the maximum. While he is warming up, we return to the steak. Lubricate it on all sides with olive oil, rub with salt and season with spices, rubbing them into fish meat.
Next, we spread the prepared steak on the grill grate greased with a small amount of oil. Bake the shark for 3-4 minutes, then turn the steak over (do it carefully) and bake it on the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
The last stage will be squeezing lemon juice on a fish steak.
Everything! The dish is ready. Carefully transfer the fried shark steak from the grill grill to a flat wide plate. If desired, you can decorate the fish with fresh herbs (parsley, dill, rosemary, thyme will do). A glass of good white wine will also be served to the place - it goes perfectly with grilled fish.
If desired, you can serve steak with any side dish - vegetables, pasta or cereals. This way you will get a full-fledged hearty dinner.
