Fruit Smoothie
Light, nourishing, for the whole family, and so tasty! A fruit smoothie isn't just a pleasant, refreshing drink - it's also a healthy, filling snack. After all, fruit is full of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, and low in calories. This smoothie will appeal to adults and kids alike.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
How do you make a fruit smoothie? Gather the ingredients. You can change the mix of fruits to taste, depending on the season or your preferences.
-
Step 2:
Besides the fruit, I added some berries - strawberries, sea buckthorn, raspberries, gooseberries, black currants, and sweet cherries - to round out the smoothie's flavor. They really made it bright and juicy, with a pleasant, refined aftertaste. But you can leave them out; the drink will still be delicious.
-
Step 3:
The banana adds sweetness and creaminess to the drink. Wash and peel it, then cut it into pieces. Put it in the blender.
-
Step 4:
Use sweet apples too. Wash them, peel them, and cut them into quarters. Cut out the core and cut the flesh into pieces. Add the chopped apples to the blender with the banana. Wash the kiwi, peel it, and cut it into several pieces. Add it to the blender too.
-
Step 5:
You can use the berries fresh or frozen (thawed first). Add the berries to the blender with the fruit.
-
Step 6:
Blend everything at medium speed until you have a smooth purée.
-
Step 7:
Pour the milk into the blender. You can use any fat content, or skip it entirely if you want a lower-calorie drink - just replace it with cold boiled water. But milk does make the drink creamier and more pleasant.
-
Step 8:
Add sugar if you like. But to my taste, all the ingredients are very sweet, and the drink comes out sweet without any added sugar. Instead of sugar you can use honey to make the drink even healthier - as long as you're not allergic to it. Blend the smoothie again for a couple of minutes.
-
Step 9:
Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve. Before serving, it's best to chill the smoothie in the fridge for 15-20 minutes - then it'll taste even better.
