Step 1:
How to cook millet porridge in the oven in a pot? Prepare the products. Pre-sort the millet, sifting out the garbage and red unopened grains. Milk is suitable for any fat content, but with homemade, natural, porridge will taste better. Adjust the amount of milk to your liking. For a more liquid porridge, add a larger amount. You can not use vanillin, add it to taste.

Rinse the millet several times under the tap until the water becomes clear.
Step 3:
Prepare a clay pot. Pour cold water into it and stand with it for several hours. Then drain the water. Then, when baking, the pot will better reveal the taste of the products. Pour the millet into the pot so that it is one-third full.
Step 4:
Pour 2/3 of the total amount of milk into the pot.
Step 5:
Put the pot in the oven, turn it on 180 degrees. Cook the porridge for about 40 minutes. Milk should be completely absorbed into the cereal, but in no case should it burn, watch out for this.
Step 6:
When all the milk is absorbed, take the pot of porridge out of the oven, put the butter and pour in the remaining milk. Return the porridge to the oven for 10-15 minutes.
Step 7:
The porridge is ready, but I advise you to cover the pot with a lid and leave it in the oven already turned off. Due to the remaining heat of the oven, the porridge will melt even more. Serve the finished porridge, spread out on plates. Bon appetit!
