Salad with String Cheese and Croutons

An unusual, really tasty salad—for a party or just a weeknight! It's very easy to make, yet it turns out delicious and pretty unexpected. I make it when guests are coming, and sometimes for a party spread to mix things up. Since my family loves it so much, I treat them to it on ordinary weeknights now and then. Give it a try!

    1. Wash the eggs and hard-boil them. Run them under cold water. Once cool, peel and dice them. 2. Cut the string cheese into pieces the same size and add it to the eggs. 3. Add the pre-cooked beans and the canned corn. 4. Peel and mince the garlic, then add it along with salt and pepper. Mix everything well. 5. Dress the salad with sour cream or mayonnaise—we prefer sour cream. 6. Cut the bread into cubes the same size as the eggs, then toast them in a hot dry skillet. 7. Scatter the croutons over the salad to finish. Enjoy!
